If your dog decides to turn their leash or collar into a snack, it won’t be covered under warranty — but don’t worry, we do offer repairs for chewed gear. Just email us at mail@arcticsammy.co.nz and we’ll help you out.
We’ll always cover any manufacturing faults or material defects for the expected life of the product.

Absolutely wonderful lead - super light and gorgeous colour!! So easy to use! I get lots of comments.
Great leash for handsfree. I use it for one dog as my two are heavy pullers. One attached to my waist is enough. My only issue is the carabiner to the collar is difficult to quickly latch to collar. The safety lock, for me needs two hands to hold it and also unlock it. Not good if you are quickly having to attach the leash to your dog. I like the other carabiner, where the lock is manually adjusted. Otherwise the leash is sturdy and great for big dogs.

Totally hear you on the carabiner — the auto-locking clip is designed for extra safety, especially with strong pullers, but it can take a little bit of practice and muscle memory to get used to opening and closing it quickly. Most people find it feels much more natural after a few uses — and you’ll be able to do it one-handed and super quickly in no time!

Unfortunately, no. You know, just like us, that dogs can chew through anything they put their mind to. The good news is: In most cases, we can repair your leash! Just send us a message and we will sort it out for you.
Yes you can! All our metal parts are either made of stainless steel or aluminium and are rust proof. We recommend giving your leash a quick rinse after a good swim to avoid long term corrosion.
Yes it is! In fact, it is a very safe way of walking a not yet trustworthy dog as you are not running the risk of dropping the leash. On top, you have both hands free to use treats and hand signals during your training.
