Lifetime Warranty - Really?

Yes - as long as you use the dog gear like you would use any other dog gear! As all of us dog owners know, a dog can chew through anything they put their mind to, so as long as you're not giving the lead, collar, or other products to your dog as a chew toy, we can guarantee it'll last forever. Any product that shows obvious signs they've been chewing on the product we cannot cover as it clearly does not fall within the normal use intention stated above. We offer lead and collar repairs should puppy chew threw the gear - just reach out to us mail@arcticsammy.co.nz and we will take care of it.

We'll still cover all manufacturing faults or material defects for as long as the product, materials or components can be expected to last.

Please note: Toys, LED Dog Light and ID Tags are excluded from our Lifetime Warranty.

Does the job and very practical. Great customer service too

Doesn't work

I knew when I got this out of the packet it was too flimsy for the job at hand. After a good number of walkies, and a good number of poops lost I'm calling this one a fail. Not user error, I make sure a good knot is tied and slipped through the loop. The material used is not stiff enough to firmly hold a bag in place. Perhaps those still using plastic bags have no issues but using thinner compostable bags this product is not fit for purpose.

Thanks so much for your honest feedback — and I’m really sorry to hear the Poop Loop hasn’t worked out for you.

We actually designed it specifically for compostable bags (especially Little Green Dog, which we also stock on our website), but you’re absolutely right that the softer material can make it a bit trickier than using thicker plastic bags. One trick that often helps is folding the bag back over the knot before pulling it through the star-shaped hole — that adds a bit more bulk and grip without wasting a bag.

That said, it definitely shouldn’t be a struggle or cause frustration — and if it’s not doing the job for you, we completely understand. If you’d like, we’re happy to offer a refund or send you an alternative product to try instead. Just let us know what works best for you.
