If your dog decides to turn their leash or collar into a snack, it won’t be covered under warranty — but don’t worry, we do offer repairs for chewed gear. Just email us at mail@arcticsammy.co.nz and we’ll help you out.
We’ll always cover any manufacturing faults or material defects for the expected life of the product.

Excellent quality. Great product.
I love this new lead material. It’s soft, thin and lightweight compared to biothane but still feels really tough. I’ve only used it for a week so far but am keen to see how it lasts. The stitching and hardware is top notch as always from Arctic Sammy. Personally I’m not crazy about the traffic handle design but my other family members like it - I’ll just have to buy another plain one if you make them!
Came for a collar, also left with a lead. Very surprised and impressed with how comfortable this is in the hand. The material is supple, yet repels everything, which is great because we walk in all conditions. Well thought out product, with the close control handle very handy in different situations, and a nice swivel carabiner that can't come unhooked.
We have started to take this leash everywhere (mud, bush, and endless lake swims). No matter how dirty or wet it gets, after a quick clean and dry it looks and feels new!
It is also super soft and lightweight and so easy on the hands. Bonus is no wet dog smell!! Honestly the best leash we’ve ever had for our pup 🐶
I love Artic Sammy and their products and this lead (and collar) did not disappoint. Im sure my dogs are part hippo, they love mud and water.! The terraflow is strong, light, looks good and is super easy to clean and dry. With the added convenience of a traffic handle, it’s perfect. (I’m hoping a wider range of colours will be coming soon?!)

Yes, it really is stink-proof — the waterproof webbing is resistant to water, dirt, and grime, so odours don’t absorb or linger like they do with fabric or rope. Just rinse it off and it stays fresh, no matter how wild the adventure.
Yes, it’s absolutely made for large dogs — with a breakload tested at 550kg, this leash is built to handle strong pullers and dogs of all sizes with confidence and control.
It may feel slightly more slippery than a fabric leash when wet — which is why we’ve added textured topographic lines for extra grip and control, even in rainy or muddy conditions. Stylish and functional.
