The whole lead is fantastic, feels great, love that it's one continuous rope. The carabiner clip is the most painful thing to use, it never comes off smoothly when I'm disconnecting, and the locking mechanism gets in the way from me taking it off. Would be great to have a normal clip option

Thanks so much for the feedback — we really appreciate the kind words about the leash overall, and we totally get where you’re coming from with the carabiner. The auto-lock carabiner can feel a bit fiddly in the beginning, especially when you are not used to them. The good news is that it almost always comes down to a bit of muscle memory. Most people find that after a few walks, it becomes second nature — and eventually, you’ll be able to open and close it one-handed without thinking twice.
We chose this locking swivel carabiner to prioritise security — it prevents accidental unclipping and helps avoid tangling, especially for strong or active dogs. That said, we totally hear you and are always looking at ways to make things even more intuitive without compromising safety.

Marshall, my 6 month old border collie is still learning loose lead walking and tends to pull on occasion. He is quite strong and since having the Sammy Arctic I now feel he cannot unclip his lead by accident and it will not break. I also have the collar and together I know he safe when I am out and about in the bush, on the beach and near traffic.
The double leash has transformed our walks! No more tangled leads - our little schnoodles are walking brilliantly and no one is getting tripped up any more!
3m lead with the Martingale Collar is the perfect combo for me and my English Springer Spaniel. The weight of the lead and the clip and the length means she knows I am still there. Happy relaxed dog on the lead now. Top quality climbing rope used for the lead is beautiful to handle. Highly recommend these beautifully made items.
Our dog is pretty strong, and training her not to pull has been a mission. We got the harness first, but with the rear clip and a normal leash, it was a disaster - she still pulled. The 3m leash connected to both the front and rear is perfect. There is a lot more control when walking on the street, and we can undo the front when in the bush, and she still needs to be on leash.
MOST COMMON QUESTIONS
Our leashes are the safest on the market. Strength tested at 500KG+, no dog will be able to break it. We even towed a car with it! (not recommended).
Unfortunately, no. You know, just like us, that dogs can chew through anything they put their mind to. The good news is: In most cases, we can repair your leash! Just send us a message and we will sort it out for you.
Yes you can! All our metal parts are either made of stainless steel or aluminium and are rust proof. We recommend giving your leash a quick rinse after a good swim to avoid long term corrosion.
