Description

The shortest of all our leashes! The Arctic Sammy Transfer Leash puts you in control of any situation. With 30cm of length,  it is perfect for vet visits, transferring your dog from the car to the start of the trail or when you are in training with your dog.

You can leave it on your dogs harness to quickly grab them close if needed. On an off lead adventure? Bring the Transfer Lead as a tethering option. Once you made it onto the trail, simply clip the lead onto your jeans, Trail Pack or backpack - so light you and your dog won't even notice it.

When you leave the Transfer Lead on your dogs harness, please always keep your dog supervised. The seatbelt tethering option does not prevent your dog from harm in case of a traffic accident and is not crash tested.

Arctic Sammy will not be held liable for any fees or taxes you may incur or if your product is seized by customs. If a delivery attempt has been made and the item was not collected and has been returned to us, you will be required to pay the re-delivery fee and the duty tax for re-import of the purchased items. All New Zealand orders will be shipped with New Zealand Post. You will receive an email confirmation within one business day of your order being dispatched.

International orders will also be shipped with DHL Express or NZ Post for orders over $150NZD.

Lifetime Warranty

Lifetime Warranty - Really?

Yes - as long as you use the dog gear like you would use any other dog gear! As all of us dog owners know, a dog can chew through anything they put their mind to, so as long as you're not giving the lead, collar, or other products to your dog as a chew toy, we can guarantee it'll last forever. Any product that shows obvious signs they've been chewing on the product we cannot cover as it clearly does not fall within the normal use intention stated above. We offer lead and collar repairs should puppy chew threw the gear - just reach out to us mail@arcticsammy.co.nz and we will take care of it.

We'll still cover all manufacturing faults or material defects for as long as the product, materials or components can be expected to last.

Please note: Toys, LED Dog Light and ID Tags are excluded from our Lifetime Warranty.

Exactly what I was looking for, an easy handle to add to the back of the harness. It's short, so be mindful of that, but that's what I wanted so it didn't drag on the ground or get caught up in legs. After having a standard clip leash (not from Arctic Sammy but from elsewhere) open up unexpectedly I am a big fan of the locking carabiners. Colour looks just like the picture.

I love this. We just have it on our black labrador Murphy's harness, makes for a quick easy grab when getting out of car, at vets or when walking to give me more control over him. Love the orange, it really stands out!

Perfect for our in training Harrier x Beagle

Our Harrier x Beagle has come to us after failing a govt programme for reactivity issues. He's a bench surfer, who also has pica, so is constantly getting himself into troublesome situations.

Our vet suggested a short leash to be able to quickly correct any behaviour that might get him into harms way (he's eaten many things he shouldn't including his own collar!) so we started with a transfer leash.

It's short enough for him to wear it around the house without it annoying him, and he can't eat it. We can quickly grab it if we need to and stop him from kamikazing off the furniture (we swear he may actually be x mountain goat) and also from getting up into food or non food items he thinks might be food.

It's also a beautiful colour. Looking forward to adding more Arctic Sammy products to our kit!

Double Dog Leash

MOST COMMON QUESTIONS

No! We have designed the Double Dog Leash with swivel carabiners on all tether points to avoid your dogs from getting tangled. They can switch sides or have different speeds without any issues.

Yes you can! We offer single dog leash splitters which you simply attach to your double dog leash. Walking more than 3 dogs can work but depends on the leash walking skills of your pups ;).

Unfortunately, no. You know, just like us, that dogs can chew through anything they put their mind to. The good news is: In most cases, we can repair your leash! Just send us a message and we will sort it out for you.

Yes you can! All our metal parts are either made of stainless steel or aluminium and are rust proof. We recommend giving your leash a quick rinse after a good swim to avoid long term corrosion.

Walking two different sized dogs together on one leash is no problem, as long as they are used to walking side by side already. And if they aren't yet, the best time to start is now.
