Wow - this lead is an absolute game changer!!!! It has made such a difference with walking our Freya! Paired with the adventure harness, it's just amazing. Being able to walk her hands free is great, I feel like I have more control and I'm not being pulled along! She lives the freedom of not having to wear her halti (which she hated) but yet I know she's not going to escape! This lead wasn't purchased as a running lead (I just don't run), but as a lead that makes me in control. I have the Artic Sammy Long Line out at the park or on a trail, but this lead is the perfect one for general walks. The thickness of the lead gives it the extra strength and security.
This is my second one of these because I lost my first one. When I say that I have bought a lot of leashes from different pet stores and online shops, but Arctic Sammy leashes can withstand saltwater, sand, mud, scrub lands and intense pulling from 4 puppies. I wish it didn’t last so long so I could get one in every colour.

Unfortunately, no. You know, just like us, that dogs can chew through anything they put their mind to. The good news is: In most cases, we can repair your leash! Just send us a message and we will sort it out for you.
Yes you can! All our metal parts are either made of stainless steel or aluminium and are rust proof. We recommend giving your leash a quick rinse after a good swim to avoid long term corrosion.
Yes it is! In fact, it is a very safe way of walking a not yet trustworthy dog as you are not running the risk of dropping the leash. On top, you have both hands free to use treats and hand signals during your training.
