Each leash is carefully made by hand here in Christchurch by our dedicated team. Made out of high strength and weather resistant climbing rope with a break load of 550kg, this dog lead is the most durable and comfortable leash available. The locking swivel carabiner ensures that your dog can't become unclipped and is easy and fast to use - no more fiddling around with small clips that can't be trusted. The rope material  dries fast which avoids nasty smells and is beach proof.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will receive your package within the time frame expected. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch (make sure you watch out for that dispatch email). As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; payment of these maybe necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. Arctic Sammy will not be held liable for any fees or taxes you may incur or if your product is seized by customs. If a delivery attempt has been made and the item was not collected and has been returned to us, you will be required to pay the re-delivery fee and the duty tax for re-import of the purchased items. All New Zealand orders will be shipped with New Zealand Post. You will receive an email confirmation within one business day of your order being dispatched.

Lifetime Warranty

Lifetime Warranty - Really?

Yes - as long as you use the dog gear like you would use any other dog gear! As all of us dog owners know, a dog can chew through anything they put their mind to, so as long as you're not giving the lead, collar, or other products to your dog as a chew toy, we can guarantee it'll last forever. Any product that shows obvious signs they've been chewing on the product we cannot cover as it clearly does not fall within the normal use intention stated above. We offer lead and collar repairs should puppy chew threw the gear - just reach out to us mail@arcticsammy.co.nz and we will take care of it.

We'll still cover all manufacturing faults or material defects for as long as the product, materials or components can be expected to last.

Please note: Toys, LED Dog Light and ID Tags are excluded from our Lifetime Warranty.

• Light – Built for smaller breeds, this lighter version keeps things easy to handle without unnecessary bulk. It comes with a small screw-lock carabiner, providing a secure yet lightweight option for your petite pup.

Better control in any situation

Got one of these for our golden lab a few months ago. Much better control out walking and I can confidently hold him under any situation. Just got one for our black lab, my partner didn’t think he needed it but is using it all the time now.

New light version is fantastic

Our leashes are the safest on the market. Strength tested at 500KG+, no dog will be able to break it. We even towed a car with it! (not recommended).

Unfortunately, no. You know, just like us, that dogs can chew through anything they put their mind to. The good news is: In most cases, we can repair your leash! Just send us a message and we will sort it out for you.

Yes you can! All our metal parts are either made of stainless steel or aluminium and are rust proof. We recommend giving your leash a quick rinse after a good swim to avoid long term corrosion.

No! We have tested the leash in many different breeds and none of them got tangled in the loop at the bottom.
