Description

Provide your dog with freedom to move while enhancing their recall skills with the 5m Arctic Sammy Train and Recall Long Line Dog Leash!

Made from durable fabric with rubber threads woven into its surface which provides excellent grip, also in wet weather conditions. Pleasant to touch, this dog leash is highly durable and has a breakload of 330kg. It glides easily through the terrain without getting tangled while the reinforced end piece makes it easy to feel when you run out of line.

The Train and Recall Long Line Dog Leash comes without a handle which prevents the dog from getting trapped or caught on bushes or on equipment when you leave their line dragging. Simply attach a separate Long Line Handle when you want to use it as a standard Long Line.

Equipped with a Traffic Handle, this lead can also be used in busy areas and gives you the control you need when you need it. 

The lightweight aluminium auto-lock carabiner ensures durability and strength for all your training sessions.

Important Information

Never leave your dog unattended or tethered somewhere when attached to any Long Line. We recommend using a harness in combination with a Long Line. Any long leash can cause rope burn if your dog suddenly takes off chasing after a rabbit! Use with care and always pay attention to your dog and surrounding to avoid injuries to you or your dog.

Lifetime Warranty

Lifetime Warranty - Really?

Yes - as long as you use the dog gear like you would use any other dog gear! As all of us dog owners know, a dog can chew through anything they put their mind to, so as long as you're not giving the lead, collar, or other products to your dog as a chew toy, we can guarantee it'll last forever. Any product that shows obvious signs they've been chewing on the product we cannot cover as it clearly does not fall within the normal use intention stated above. We offer lead and collar repairs should puppy chew threw the gear - just reach out to us mail@arcticsammy.co.nz and we will take care of it.

We'll still cover all manufacturing faults or material defects for as long as the product, materials or components can be expected to last.

Please note: Toys, LED Dog Light and ID Tags are excluded from our Lifetime Warranty.

Absolutely love this line, doesn’t matter what it gets on it, grass sand or mud it just washes off with the hose and is dry the next day.
The best thing about it is how gentle it is on your hands.
I have the 5m and the 10m now.

I have purchased both the 5m and 10m long lines. They are strong, easy to grip and don't knot!! My dog loves the freedom of the 10m when in a place that he can go "off lead" and the 5m is great for training purposes where I don't want him to get too far away. The best thing is I can change the handle onto whichever lead i am using that day!
Highly recommend as a quality product.

In love with this long line. Multiple uses from recall training to keeping Squid under control beach fishing. Team with the handle and you are set. Yes it is expensive but well made and doesn't burn through your fingers like my previous longline.

MOST COMMON QUESTIONS

Yes! Our Long Dog Leashes are perfect for puppies who can not yet be fully trusted off leash. A Long Dog Leash gives your dog an "off leash" feeling while you can safely train your recall. Furthermore, it is a great tool to prevent your puppy from meeting dog's you don't trust.

Any Long Dog Leash can cause some sort of a rope burn when used incorrectly. We recommend to stay focused and proactive to avoid your dog running full speed into the end of a line while chasing after a rabbit! It is best practise to slowly give and take rope and avoid it running through your hands - and always use the handle.

Yes it is! However, we believe that it would not be the best choice for toy breeds such as Chihuahuas or fully grown dogs lighter than 3kg.

No, it doesn't soak up water but instead only gets wet on the surface.
